Catherine Reilly has spent her career, beginning in 1982, in financial related services. She is surely an agent who has experience working on all sides of a real estate transaction.

Her career in finance began as a bank teller, and later a bank manager of First Heights Bank. She has experienced the Savings and Mortgage Lending crisis while originally managing a portfolio of up to 600 bank foreclosures. It was in 1987 that Catherine earned her Sales Agent license. Also, because of her training as a Branch Manager she was required to learn how to qualify buyer’s for a mortgage loan.   “There is nothing more disappointing than having buyers think they are able to purchase a home only to find out they aren’t qualified after all,” she said.

She is Houston born and has great childhood memories of her parents’ first home purchased in Houston’s Meyerland subdivision. “I remember the house vividly with the Easter egg hunts in the backyard and riding my bike down the block to Meyerland Shopping Plaza to buy pea shooters. How the neighborhood has changed since 1965.”

Knowledge of Houston’s diverse communities has allowed Catherine to represent clients throughout the area. Her childhood was spent in Galveston, Texas enjoying everything about being by the water. She lived in the Galleria as a young adult, and then married and settled in Katy where she’s watched the amazing growth over the past 33 years. Because of her ethics she’s gained the trust of clients throughout the Houston area, and she will travel to any part of the city to show homes for those she represents.

Catherine is currently a sustaining member of the Junior League of Houston, Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church and Business Network International for her involvement with Mortgage Lending.   Her volunteerism has spanned over the years from giving time to Brookwood Community, Ballard House, all The Katy Hospitals, Meal on Wheels, PTA Committees, National Charity League Katy Chapter. Helping raise $160,000 for Pattison Elementary School track installation and playground improvements was one of her most satisfying accomplishments.   She is currently an empty nester with her husband Tom and trying to get more travel time in.
